Tango
“Tango is to dance what jazz is to music: freeform and complex, but also intense, sensual, and endlessly expressive. It is a language of the body where two people learn to move as one with each other and as one with the music. At CSDA, we rebrand classical Argentine Tango by introducing the possibility of dancing to modern music and without stereotypical gender roles. In our classes, you will learn to both lead and follow. We also step away from formal traditions like the cabeceo (the classic eye-contact invitation) to create a more relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, while preserving the deep connection and vital core of the dance. Our mission is to keep Tango youthful, fresh, and accessible, because the best way to preserve a dance is to make the next generation fall in love with it.”
