What language are the classes thaught in?
All our classes are tought in English.
How do I know if should sign up as a leader or follower?
Anyone can choose to lead or follow—it’s entirely up to you! Traditional gender roles in dance are a thing of the past, and we encourage everyone to try both roles. It’s a great way to improve your skills, understand your partner better, and it’s a lot of fun too!
Do I need a partner to join the classes?
No, you don’t need a partner to sign up! We rotate partners frequently during the class, so you’ll get to dance with many different people.
I am not a student, can I still join?
Yes, absolutely! While our primary focus is on students, we warmly welcome everyone who is interested in dancing, regardless of age or background.
What should I wear?
No special attire is required! Just wear something comfortable that you can move in and indoor shoes that don’t stick to the floor (smooth-soled shoes are ideal). There is always the option of dancing in socks.
What if I feel nervous about joining for the first time?
That’s completely normal! Partner dancing is about having fun and connecting with others. Our teachers and members are supportive and friendly, so you’ll feel welcome from day one.
What does the courses cost?
Student: 200 sek/course
Non-student: 450 sek/course

Where is the classroom for the courses?
All classes are held in A Working Lab (AWL) on campus Johanneberg, either on the first or second floor.

Where can I find the chaos Friday and workshops?
Most of our events are held in the Student Union building on campus Johanneberg, either on the first floor outside JA Pripps or on the second floor in Scaniasalen. Enter through the main door which is right next to Store and you will either see us or just head up the stairs straight ahead.
